Fridays are quite possible my favorite day of the week. Assuming Nate doesn't have any catching up to do at work (which is rare but does happen occasionally) it means we get to spend the whole day together - me and my boys - and I love it! Yesterday was a great day even though we didn't do anything too special - just played and cleaned house (and I cooked up a little Japanese stir fry that was quite delicious - an accomplishment for not having a seasoning recipe to follow - I am still pretty proud of my self!). Below you can see Kingston loves to play with his Daddy - and he is so talented he can use both his hands and his feet to hold onto a ball!

Dad lets him do fun things while Mommy is away...

Yesterday we also purchased a new
vacuum - yahoo! Our old one was not working at all, and with a golden retriever our carpet was getting disgusting. We were also tired of asking to borrow other people's
vacuums, so my dear husband worked some extra jobs to buy me a fab new Dyson! We got a great deal from a local store here, and they gave us an extra 15% off just because (thank you Dave Ramsey for the always pay cash lesson!), which put our top of the line
vacuum into a very low price range. So proud of my hubby for working hard to buy a household appliance when I am sure there are many other things (i.e. guitar pedals and an
iPhone) that he would rather have - I am so blessed. Kingston is thankful too he just doesn't know it - our new vacuum will keep him from choking on all kinds of stuff on the floor now that he is so close to crawling!
