Never in my life have I imagined I would title anything "snot bubbles". And yet, here we are. My little man has been sick on and off the last 2 weeks (we survived our first real fever with NO trip to the ER, and no call to my dear friend Sarah, who fields numerous - and often ridiculous- medical questions for me). I brushed this all off as teething, until last night, when the only way Kingston could breathe was being held upright. Poor baby - he sounds so sad(and as the title of this post suggests, is bubbling with snot)! I have found a new pediatrician who is open 365 days a year and they saw K today and said he has a triple whammy - teeth, a cold, and reflux (which makes the mucus worse!). So...we press on - thankful there is no serious infection, but also no quick fix to his problem. Just part of being a baby I guess! Life otherwise has been very busy - DNow and an Easter play for Nate, and our first road trip with K last monday and tuesday. My mom comes to visit this weekend - she hasn't seen Kingston since Christmas - I can't wait for her to see how big he is (and all the super cute stuff he does!). Life with a sick baby isn't easy - but it is blessed. I feel so lucky for each snuggle and cuddle, each sweet smile and the funny growling noises he makes. Like I said earlier, I never imagined a time where snot bubbles would be my topic of conversation, but I also never knew life could be so sweet!
