I. Have. Survived.

We've made it. The last few months have been a whirlwind of activities and trips - glorious, wonderful things like my sister and Sarah's weddings, a 60th birthday party for my Aunt Cathy, a variety of showers/bachelorette parties, youth events, family gatherings, trips to Mount Vernon to check on our house and celebrate ABMD, and some temporary jobs for myself. Are you tired from reading this list? I am tired from living it!

Throw in 8 toddler teeth, a variety of sicknesses (the latest of which was acquired this weekend), Nate's trip to Ireland, the Jones Grandparents trip to Jamaica, Thanksgiving festivities - and I am sure there is much more. Needless to say - we are ready for some normalcy! I am currently on travel strike until at LEAST January of 2011 - and after I finish up a week of work I am going to take some time off for the holiday season and enjoy some time at home with Kingston!

Here are some random things about life lately:
Kingston puts himself in time out. And can tell you why he is there (usually this is related to some type of abuse to the cat). Obviously, time out isn't working too well for us.

I am asking for all kinds of scrapbooking goodies for Christmas - I am determined to be moderately crafty. Should anyone have some much needed advice/ideas, feel free to contribute - I am pretty sure I need a crafting therapist.

I have been reading "Radical" by David Platt. Life. Changing. (more to come on this I am sure!)

We shopped black friday for the first time ever. Also the first time we ever purchased a Christmas gift prior to December. Yea for us! Some good deals were found - but I can't say I will ever shop BF again.

I am filling in for a local church secretary this week- and I have never been so thankful that I normally get to stay home with my little boy! I am so grateful for a husband who sacrifices for us, allowing me to have my dream job.

I thought I had loaded our most recent pics on the computer...but apparently not! Here are few from our travels: Kingston and his new cousin Rowan, Nate's pic of the Cliffs of Moore in Ireland, and Kingston all dressed up for my sister's wedding!
