In the pics below I am 33 and 1/2 weeks. While I have only gained about 10 pounds this pregnancy (thanks to an active boy and gestational diabetes) I am still getting uncomfortable! Some things about my pregnancy this time around:
Lots of morning sickness
Gestational diabetes
exhaustion (again...running after a 3 year old...)
heartburn - an ultrasound showed our girl has some hair!
Strange veins - my legs are always wrapped or in compression socks
I crave coke, cheesecake and fruit (the first two I can't have, the last only in moderation
First thing I want after I deliver - the coke and the cheesecake please!
We are having maternity photos taken tomorrow - and I can't wait!
Kingston has been a great helper...and is (for the moment) excited about his sister arriving. I expect these feelings to change once she actually starts taking up his attention from us! When asked what he wants to do with his sister he says "change her diaper" - and then tells me she better put her business in the potty! Such a funny kid!
And finally...her name is....: Ruby Sue Jones. Ruby is my Dad's mom's name, and just seemed to fit. Sue is Nate's mom's name. We will call her both Ruby and Ruby Sue. We love her and feel so blessed to be adding another miracle to our family - we would just like her to wait a few more weeks (Nate especially would like her to wait until after our DNow next weekend!).
The pics below won't post correctly in my draft, but Kingston LOVES his play dough toys from Grammie - and has enjoyed our one snow of the winter. He is so fun - and independent/challenging/determined - these days - I am trying to soak up every last moment of our time together before life changes in a big way!
