7 Days Down - and some pics!

Our whole family attended an Easter Egg hunt and event at our church. Kingston is not only showcasing his rockin Elmo basket, but also a nifty basketball that was handpainted on his hand (by me, since he wouldn't let the person doing it touch him - and certainly nowhere near his face...that would have required being still!)

Dying eggs. For some reason, when we tell him to smile, this is the face we get.
This is during said egg dying. When my son decided that using his hand to retrieve the eggs was better than using a spoon. The next day was Easter - for which we attended church with his hands this shade or Marshan green :)

I may be a little obsessive about having a baby pool in the back yard. Kingston loves being outside, and I intend on being some shade of tan before we take our students to gulf shores. As soon as the weather channel said we were supposed to hit 90 this week I hit up Toys R Us and found one I thought would be fun - and serve Kingston's obsession with basketball.

He played in here for almost 2 hours. His toes were slightly blue when he came out...note to self about letting the water heat up just a bit longer.

And since I am supposed to be reporting back.....here is an update for my 31 day challenge!

I have completed 1/4 of my 31 day challenge- and have been successful so far! I have enjoyed the challenge and accountability of making myself be creative, plan ahead and choose healthier food for my family (all things I should have been doing of course...some things just slip away from you!). This week will be especially interesting in that I have ALREADY used my one FF trip for the week - eek! I will report back my progress and some new goals next week.
