Kingston - isms

Kingston is such a funny little guy. I tell him that frequently so now he will say "Kingston...funny boy?". I guess I need to come up with something new - and maybe self fulfilling (like..."Kingston...obedient boy"...). I thought I would share a few of his little quirks that make me smile:

1. He refers to himself in the third person. Thank you Elmo.
2. He thinks its hilarious to stick his head under the sink faucet and yet screams when I wash his hair. He also loves dousing himself in the face with a huge cup of water. I just don't get the trauma associated with clean hair.
3. He says "cheese" and gives a cheesy smile when he sees any type of phone/camera
4. He can, without error, operate Nate's Iphone. Particularly the photo and YouTube apps.
5. He tells me just how nice he is if he does something kind
6. He loves to play basketball more than any child I know
7. He spots letters and numbers everywhere and will (loudly) announce said letter and its sound until you acknowledge it
8. He tells me things to pray for as we pray - everything from basketball, to the moon, to our friends the Ruffing family are on his prayer request list.
9. He often asks if fictional characters are just "at their house" which is the answer I give when he asks to see his Aunt Carrie (at least once a day - that she is at her house!)
10. He always wants TWO - it doesn't matter what it is, he wants one for each hand
11. He says "one more time?" when asking to keep playing something. Its so cute, I just can't resist.
12. He calls string cheese "boop". I have no idea why.
13. When he notices he needs his nose wiped he will scream (with great urgency) Boogie!!!! and then confirm..."Don't touch it!!". Obviously, he has heard this many times.
14. He things its hilarious to blow raspberries on my chin. Very slobbery.
I am sure there are more - he is such a lively child I can't help but laugh at him!
