We were so delighted to spend Thanksgiving with my dad's side of the family in Branson. It was a nice chance to get away - and was so wonderful to spend a few days with those we love (and get to see so rarely!). We also did Christmas presents since we won't be together at Christmas (pics below), and visited Silver Dollar City. We attempted the day at SDC with no afternoon nap - which was a bad idea for a child who was already at the end of his rope from a long time in the stroller (he prefers to push it as to ride in it!). But...the upside was that for the first time in EIGHT MONTHS Kingston slept through the night! I thought I was onto something and the next few days tried to convert to the one nap schedule, thinking this was the key to FINALLY getting a full night's rest. Wrong. I ended up still getting up at night and having a super cranky baby during the day because he was so sleep deprived. So we are back to two naps, and praying for more nighttime sleep! We loved seeing my dad, Linda, Carrie, Aunt Ruth and Cathy and cousin Richard - I was a big slacker on pics so there are only a few below - I have to start getting better about that!
He is crazy about books!
He loves the Pooh Bear doll - he carries him around and gives him hugs and kisses!
Hmm...what's this?
I could get used to opening presents...
