14 Months!

So the Chief's aren't doing too well...but at least the outfit is cute!
He looks like such a little man in his track suit!
Crazy post bath hair. The poor child has numerous cowlicks and a widow's peak. I have a feeling the "buzz" may be his style of choice when he's older. There are some adorable curls starting to form in the back of his hair - so sweet!
This is the "haven't you tortured me enough today" look. A button up shirt, jacket and shoes are the absolute max for the little guy - he hates being dressed and having shoes on - he hates being messed with or slowed down!

We are having so much fun with Kingston - each day more of his personality shines through, and he always has us laughing! Here is the 14 month update:

Eating: He loves fruit, bread, cheese and yogurt. I am still trying to find a way to disguise the veggies, or just get him to like them - suggestions are welcome. He also eats like a horse - at this rate he won't be able to go to college because he will have eaten through his savings!

Health: This category relates to a few others. This has been the "Season of the Ear Infection". We have had at least 6 infections in the last 3 months and are scheduled to meet with a specialist at the end of the month. While I hate the thought of tubes being put in my sweet baby's ears, I would love for the medicine (and screaming) to come to an end!

Sleeping: Yikes. Screaming. Lots of it. See the health category.

Just for fun: Kingston loves to be chased, chase, play peek a boo, play ball, run (so cute), play in the fridge, "help" me take the laundry out of the dryer, read books, play in his ball pit, chase Belle, tackle us and get into cabinets/closets.

Such a smartie!: He can point to his head and toes when you ask, knows a cow says moo, use a spoon (with a little help) retrieve a number of objects when asked (ball, books, elmo, snowglobe, cup, Belle, push cart), says mama, dada, kitty, Belle (he calls her "B" a lot too), puppy, pretty, tree and lights. He also answers yes/no to questions and can tell you if he's pooping!

Terrible Ones?: There was a meltdown in the grocery store last night when I picked him up and he had to let go of the side of the shopping cart (he had been pushing it with me). I was "that" woman in line with the screaming kid. Oy vey. I think it's just beginning. He also points/grunts continuously when he sees something he wants - so I am looking forward to the development of more words so we can communicate a little better!

All in all 14 months is pretty great - and I know life will get even better when all of Kingston's ear issues get resolved! We will post again soon!
