A Day in the Life of Kingston

Hello all - its been a while since we updated! Kingston just has his four month check up and is growing like a weed! He is 16 pounds and 26 and 1/2 inches long - in the 75th percentile all around! He is cooing and babbling constantly (poor thing listens to me talk all day - he is finally trying to get a word in edgewise lol) and is rolling from back to front - so big! Sleep is still a major challenge in our lives - he is occasionally taking longer naps - when he took two hour naps last weekend I took his temperature because I was sure he must be sick - nope, just a suprisingly good nap day. At night our sleep record is 8 hours and 20 minutes - but that is by no means a consistant sleep pattern - most nights he sleeps a solid 5 to 6 hours - I am praying the 8 hour trend continues though! We are also having to battle teaching him to sleep without being rocked/held. We started this in the beginning because of his reflux he couldn't be laid down immediately or he would spit up and have to eat again...and now we seem to be paying the price. I don't have the heart to let him cry for a long time yet, so we are using the "Baby Whisperer" method - which takes a few weeks to work, but will hopefully avoid tears on both our parts!! Kingston also has a variety of toys to play with - a baby einstein bouncer, swing, bouncy - I have a few pics here, as well as a pic of him swaddled (or, a baby straitjacket, as my Aunt Cathy calls it) and a few pics of him eating cereal in the high chair - he eats cereal twice a day and loves it! He keeps me busy all day ( and sometimes all night) but we love playing with our sweet baby boy! More updates soon!
