The BIG 3-0!!!

Tomorrow Nate turns 30! I am so thankful that he is my husband, and that I get to celebrate (and live) his life with him. In honor of his 30 years, here are 30 things I love about him!

1. He is kind and loving to everyone he meets

2. He makes me laugh

3. He makes sure I don't take things too seriously

4. He cares about people's feelings when most guys wouldn't

5. He always gets great parking spots

6. He always picks out great pants for me - even without trying them on!

7. He is an amazing dad

8. He is a spiritual leader

9. He is humble and gracious

10. He is always learning

11. His amazing voice and guitar skills

12. His love for the Lord

13. His ultra-weird friendship with Danny

14. I never have to question his commitment to me or Kingston

15. He takes care of my car (even when I keep hitting things with it)

16. He brings me presents when he returns from trips

17. He sacrifices for Kingston and I daily

18. He is a great provider

19. He supports and encourages my desire to stay home with Kingston

20. He believes in me and always encourages me

21. He never complains about the house/laundry/etc

22. He has embraced my "non adventurous" personality and doesn't try to change me

23. He loves the Chiefs and Royals - that is loyalty and commitment :)

24. He keeps his word

25. He is wise

26. He has a great sense of discernment

27. He watches movies he hates because he knows I like them

28. He takes time to play with Kingston even when he is exhausted

29. He isn't afraid to ask for other's opinions - he knows when to seek wise counsel

30. He is a great husband - he loves me just like Christ loves the church!
