Health: This is a new category for us. Kingston was pretty healthy until about 2 and 1/2 months ago - then we started what has seemed to be, one LOOONNNNGGG ear infection. My poor baby has been so miserable! He is on serious ear infection number two for the season, and seems to have just started to feel better now that he is on day 8 of his antibiotics. This has played a huge part in his sleeping problems (not to mention the poor thing just didn't feel good a lot of the time) and so if this infection is difficult to clear up, or if he gets another infection before January, we will look at having tubes put in. Its not my first choice, but I would like him to stop getting terrible ear infections!
Eating: My boy is an eating machine! He loves fruit, cheese and bread. He doesn't care too much for meat or veggies - but will eat them if they are mixed in with cheese. He has adjusted to drinking milk during the day, and we are only nursing at night. Due to sickness etc we are a little behind on the weaning process -but we are working on it!
Sleeping: We believe that Kingston's ears have been bothering him (infected or not) for about the last 6 months - which explains a lot of our sleep problems. He is frequently getting up at least twice per night (and only wants to nurse if I go in to get him :) but last night he only got up once and slept until 6:45 (late for him!). So I am hoping as his ears improve so does the sleeping - and maybe someday I will post that he is sleeping through the night!
Moving: My little man has SO much energy. Last monday he started walking well - and hasn't stopped since! He even tries to run! And he is currently obsessed with carrying objects - no matter how large or heavy - around with him. My favorite thing to watch is him carry around his large elmo - its taller than he is! I will try to post video soon. He also loves to dance to music, push things around, play peekaboo, look under the bed (or bookcase) when something goes underneath it (this is hilarious to watch - I love it), waving, clapping, cheering - and probably a few more things - I just can't remember right now!
Development: Kingston hasn't said any other words besides mama and dada, but he babbles constantly. He loves reading and can point to many objects in books or retrieve them when we ask for them - he know circle, square, ball, dog and a few others. He also obeys when I say "Kingston look at mommy" which is usually followed by asking him to stop doing something :) He is obsessed with exploring new things right now - his little arm and pointer finger are constantly pointing out items for us to name, and for him to touch - a few of his favorite items are - the lotion bottle, bananas (in peel), some weird ball/stick things from my table centerpiece, a beaded lampshade, all doors, our toothbrushes, his humidifier and the dog. Kingston LOVES Belle. Belle does not share the intensity of his sentiment. She is happy to be the recipient of treats from the high chair, but isn't a fan of Kingston climbing on her. He actually cried when she left the room tonight because he wanted to play with her! I think Kingston has a future in engineering - he is all about figuring out how things move and work - he never slows down!
There is probably more going on - I just can't think right now - I will post more with a few pics and hopefully video of Kingston walking with Elmo.

Yeah for Kingston walking!! So fun! Keep me posted on the ear infection situation. Landon was the same way and he ended up having tubes and hasn't had an ear infection since. So, there is good and bad to it. :-)
