How drastically life has changed the last 8 (almost 9!) weeks! We are so crazy about Kingston - but boy are we tired! Bouts of colic and reflux have had us about at our wits end, not to mention the lack of sleep! Kingston is FINALLY sleeping in his pack and play, and will be making the transition to big boy crib in a few weeks. He has also started napping in the pack and play just this week - I almost don't know what to do with myself - oh wait - catch up on cleaning and sleep! It's amazing how much I have learned to get done in just a few minutes! Kingston is busy during his awake times smiling and cooing, and occasionally laughing! It is so much fun to see his little personality develop. He is sweet and snuggly, but I think we are also going to have some challenges in the areas of patience (he is 0 to 60 in terms of crying - there is no inbetween!) and he certainly has a strong will (Dr. Dobson here I come!). Physically he is growing by leaps and bounds - maybe because he eats every 11/2 hours! We have a two month visit on friday, where we will check his weight and he will get his first round of shots (tear!). He is always moving -kicking his legs, holding up his head, or swinging his arms - once he becomes mobile we are doomed! Nate and I have adjusted a bit more to life with baby - we haven't left him with anyone but the grandparents, but soon enough we are going to start a date night thanks to some sweet ladies at church who have offered to watch him (I am waiting for the colic to tame down a bit first). According to our doctor colic and reflux both diminish or go away about 12 weeks so I am counting the days - hopefully this will help him become a better sleeper, and a less frequent eater (both associated with reflux). Anyhow, we are so excited to share this Christmas season with our greatest gift - our sweet son! More pics and posts to come soon (as long as the napping continues!)!
