We made it home safely from the Big Apple -and had a great deal of fun while there. It was, by far, the most exhausting trip I have even been on - not to mention the most challenging in terms of finding public restrooms! God was so faithful to keep us safe and to help us accomplish all of the work we needed to for the North American Mission Board - it was amazing, and we have a new love for each of the people groups we worked with. A few pregnancy notes - I may have gestational diabetes and will be going in for an advanced test Monday at 7:15a.m. This required 12 hours of fasting from all foods/liquids (yikes!) so I am praying for a long deep sleep sunday night to keep me occupied!! Please pray for Baby Jones (a name will come soon I promise!) and I to be healthy and safe - only 11 more weeks until my due date - I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! Today I went and added items to our registry - we have a few showers coming up - and am a bit overwhelmed at all the stuff my tiny little person seems to require - I may need another room just for storage of all the baby gear! We still have a few more things to add, but all in all, that is one more thing to check off the list of to do's before baby arrives. Poor Nate has a list a mile long of projects for the baby room - from painting to refinishing furniture (not to mention all the stores I drag him to in my attempt to find a rocker/glider at a reasonable price!) and setting up the crib - we are in full swing baby mode at the Jones house!
