Greetings all! We are so excited to announce that we are having a baby! We wanted a way for our friends and family who lived far away to be as involved as possible in this exciting time in our lives - so we are attempting this blog. We hope you will leave comments and enjoy the updates, and of course the photos that we will post of ultrasounds and my expanding figure. We will try to update at least weekly with information about how I am feeling, what milestones the baby is reaching, and anything else exciting that is going on. Our hope is that by keeping you informed you will pray for us as we prepare to become parents, and for our baby as he or she is very busy developing over the next 9 months! As of today - Feb. 14- I am officially four weeks and four days pregnant - very early! I have already had two blood tests to determine that my hormone levels are rising and so far everything looks great! I am feeling a bit sick, although no puking yet - just aversions to the many sights and smells of the elementary school! I am also feeling SO exhausted...and admitedly a bit grouchy...but no symptom is too great to overwhelm my joy in being pregnant! This week the baby's heart is already beating, all of the major organ systems are beginning to develop, and by sunday he/she will be the size of an orange seed!! Please pray for strength for me, and for our baby to develop as it should. We won't let the big secret out until I am twelve weeks....so SHHHHH!!! Finally, we just want to give praise and honor to God - we know that all good things come from Him, and He has been so faithful to continue to bless us! We love you all and will update again soon!
